Development / Consulting Services
We are available to review whatever aspect or scope of the development process you want us to consider, from developing your project from start to finish; advising on specific areas of concern; troubleshooting; or whatever work you define. The fees and expenses for such services are based on the individual project itself; its phase of development; the timeline; costs; and problems that may need to be overcome.
Predevelopment Services
We are available to assist you in developing a project from the ground up to commencement of construction, again, depending on the scope of work required and the project timeline, we can assist you with site selection; surveys; soils reports; environmental studies; market studies; interviewing and contracting with architects; engineers; contractors; lenders; project planning; bidding; construction timelines and specific problems or issues that arise.
Trouble-Shooting
If you have a specific problem that has surfaced during a project which you would like assistance in resolving and which may or may not have a high degree of urgency associated with the problem – we can help! When there is a fire – you do not want the fire trucks showing up after the fire has burned itself out – you want and need action now. While we can’t promise that at the moment you call, we can drop everything on our plate and attend to your needs, we can promise that if we are available and think that we can help – we will endeavor to be there within 24 hours to see what we can do to put the fire out. Fees and charges for such services will depend on the urgency, degree of difficulty, and length of time that is required to obtain relief for the situation. The fees could range from a nominal $2,000 a day to as much as $800 per hour, plus all expenses, including transportation, travel time, lodging, and meals. Our day does not stop at 4 pm and may be up to 20 hours long, as your situation requires.
Expert Witness
We believe we have the qualifications and endorsements to provide you with a highly professional analysis of any issue you require as it relates to the development and construction of a hotel, and in the event that your issue requires additional or other specialized knowledge which we do not have, we will tell you, and to the extent that we are able, refer you to someone who has the qualifications we lack. Our Expert Witness Fees are $250 an hour working time; $150 per hour travel and waiting time; and $500 an hour for courtroom time, plus travel and all related expenses.
Project Management
We can provide construction project management, general contracting or construction administrative services. In partnership with Beechwood Development, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company formed by its two members Thomas Arnot and Darrell Hanson, to locate, develop and hold for investment, Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Wisconsin, and now throughout the United States. Both Darrell and Tom were long-time businessmen in Madison, Wisconsin. Each has gone on to pursue other endeavors but they have joined forces to create one of the most innovative hotel development companies in the country today.
